Terms of Use — Khazen
Effective date: 2026-06-09 App: Khazen (App Store) Developer: KHASSINX LLC, a Florida limited liability company Contact: [email protected]
By downloading, installing, or using Khazen, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. License to use
Khazen grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms governing App Store purchases.
This license is contingent on an active subscription (or being within the free trial period). Sharing accounts, reselling access, or distributing modified copies is not permitted.
2. What Khazen is — and what it is not
Khazen is a personal finance app. It connects to your bank accounts, helps you track transactions, plan budgets, set goals, and surfaces insights about your money.
Khazen is not:
- A bank, a broker, or a financial institution
- A registered investment adviser or a provider of financial, tax, or legal advice
- An accountant or a substitute for professional financial guidance
Insights, projections, and recommendations shown in the app are informational and based on patterns detected in your own transactions. They are not personalized financial advice. Decisions about your money — saving, investing, paying off debt, taxes — should be made by you, with the help of a qualified professional when needed.
3. Bank connections — your authorization
To work, Khazen needs to connect to your bank accounts. By connecting an account, you authorize the regulated financial data network integrated with Khazen to retrieve transaction and balance information from your bank on your behalf.
- The network’s terms govern its handling of your bank credentials and the data it returns. You receive those terms during the connect flow.
- Khazen does not see your bank credentials. The connection flow happens between you and your bank (or the network, on your bank’s behalf).
- You can revoke a bank connection at any time, from Khazen’s Settings → Accounts → Disconnect. Revocation is immediate.
4. Subscription, free trial, and renewal
Khazen is offered as a subscription. Pricing and tiers are displayed in-app and on the App Store listing. Subscriptions auto-renew under your Apple ID until you cancel.
- Free trial: seven days. No charge during the trial. We send a local notification on the device before the trial ends so you can decide whether to continue.
- Renewal: charged to your Apple ID at the start of each billing period. You can change the plan or cancel from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
- Refunds: handled entirely by Apple. Request through your App Store purchase history. We have no ability to grant or deny refunds directly because we do not process payments.
- Pricing changes: any change to the price of an existing subscription is communicated to you in advance with the option to cancel without penalty before the new price applies, per Apple’s policies.
5. AI-generated content
Khazen uses Apple Intelligence (FoundationModels) on your device to generate financial summaries and insights.
AI-generated content may occasionally:
- Be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date
- Misinterpret a transaction or category
- Reflect the limitations of the underlying model
Treat AI-generated insights as a supplementary perspective, not as authoritative or as financial advice. The transaction data shown in the app is the ground truth; the AI’s interpretation is a layer on top.
We apply safety constraints on all AI output, but no automated filter is perfect.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use Khazen for personal, lawful purposes only. You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app
- Use any automated system to scrape, mine, or extract data from the app
- Bypass subscription verification (e.g., by jailbreak, app modification, or fraudulent receipts)
- Use the app in any way that violates Apple’s App Store policies or applicable law
- Use the app to engage in money laundering, fraud, or any other illegal activity
Attempts to circumvent subscription verification trigger our Transaction.currentEntitlements check plus server cross-validation. Detected fraud results in access revocation and is reported to Apple.
7. Intellectual property
- The Khazen app (code, design, assets, AI prompts, classification heuristics) is copyright © 2026 KHASSINX LLC, all rights reserved.
- Khazen and the Khazen logo are unregistered trademarks of KHASSINX LLC.
- Apple, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, Apple Intelligence, App Store, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc.
- Bank names and logos referenced inside the app remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify your accounts.
8. No warranty · Limitation of liability
Khazen is provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of information, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KHASSINX LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:
- Financial decisions made based on insights shown in the app
- Missed payments, overdraft fees, or other bank charges
- Inaccuracies in transaction categorization or budget projections
- Service interruptions affecting bank data refresh
- Loss of data on your device or in your iCloud
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Khazen is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero if you are within the free trial.
9. Service availability and changes
Khazen depends on third-party services (Apple platforms, the regulated financial data network, and your bank). Outages of any of these services may interrupt Khazen’s functionality temporarily.
We may discontinue or materially modify features at any time. We will give reasonable notice for material changes that affect paying users. If Khazen is discontinued entirely, we will:
- Notify users in-app and by email if we have one on file
- Stop further subscription charges
- Offer pro-rated refunds for unused subscription time, processed through Apple
10. Termination
You may stop using Khazen at any time by:
- Cancelling your subscription (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions)
- Deleting your account from Khazen’s Settings → Account → Delete account (removes everything from our backend)
- Deleting the app from your device
We may suspend or terminate your access to Khazen if you breach these terms, attempt to defraud, or use the app illegally.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when:
- Adding new features that materially change the experience
- Reflecting changes in Apple App Store policies
- Reflecting changes in the regulated financial data network’s terms
- Correcting legal or factual errors
Material changes will be reflected with a new “Effective date” at the top. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States — the jurisdiction in which KHASSINX LLC is formed — without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
- Disputes shall be resolved under those laws.
- Both parties waive the right to a jury trial for any dispute.
- You agree to attempt informal resolution by emailing [email protected] before pursuing formal legal action.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
13. Contact
Questions, concerns, refund disputes (after exhausting Apple’s process), or accessibility feedback:
- Email: [email protected]
- Mail: Available on written request via email
Expected response time: seven business days.
